Eoin O'Malley

Project:

Tracks

An innovative and experimental art project using the 'Mark-Making' method, a painting process executed with a variety of wheels to create a unique large-scale floor painting. The idea for the project evolved from Eoin's experimental artwork using his wheelchair as a drawing tool.

Artist:

Eoin O'Malley is a Wicklow-based artist who has been developing his practice since 2008, working alongside facilitator Orla Callaghan. Eoin uses his mouth to hold his brushes and paints, mainly in acrylic on canvas. He also creates drawings using pencil, brush marker and ink and has experimented using his wheelchair to create large-scale floor drawings.
