About the event

🎧What does Baltinglasssound like?

Over the past eight weeks, a group of local young people aged 12–18 have been listening to Baltinglass in a whole new way β€” capturing the sounds of the River Slaney, stone bridges, morning traffic, the Town Square and the everyday sounds of the town.

Working with Music Generation Wicklow musician educators and music producers Niall Hughes and Gary O’Reilly, participants from the Baltinglass IPAS Centre and Scoil Chonglais have transformed these field recordings into an original musical audio project: Sounds of the Slaney.

🌊🎢Come and hear the results for the first time at the public launch this Saturday!
